Nita Shah is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and has been practicing yoga for over ten years. Since 2002, she has spent 18 months training with various different teachers in Asia allowing her to experience several different styles of yoga, as taught by the various different 'schools' i.e. Iyengar, Sivananda, Bihar and Ashtanga.

Nita teaches with a positive energy and with the aim of encouraging students to practice with awareness of their innate intelligence.

Her teaching style draws on the influence of Iyengar Yoga, focusing on alignment and precise instruction to focus and train the body and mind and the use of props to awaken the body's natural intelligence and to make the poses accessible to all, whatever their level of experience and ability.
