The Teaching: You will benefit from an in-depth learning experience from two internationally renowned Yoga Masters who are passionante about sharing their knowledge and sense of fun with you. The yoga combines the power behind Duncan’s beautiful unique blend of Yoga, martial arts and bodywork with Elena’s therapeutic expertise and ability to read and understand the body.
Through the Evolve Your Yoga collaboration this dynamic duo merge their knowledge and expertise perfectly to repair body and mind damage sustained from a hectic Western lifestyle. Their unique synthesis of dynamic practice and therapeutic applications brings you a great opportunity to excel in many areas of your life towards greater accompllishments on and off the mat.
Each day is packed with opportunity and tailored to allow time and space for deep relaxation, reflection and spiritual calm. You can do as much or as little practice as you like and the retreat caters for all abilities from beginners to experienced teachers.
With daily workshops and classes ranging from deep relaxation, therapeutic focus on how to modify habits and movement patterns to the beautiful blend of core dynamic flow mechanics, mixed martial arts mudra and stance structure, interdisciplinary bodywork therapy and specialised multifaceted adjustments, this rich range of experiences is the perfect arena for guests to find their own personal direction, supported by equally high amounts of personal one to one attention.
Location
The retreat is held at Locanda Del Gallo, Italy, a 12th Century restored farm house. Steeped in its own fascinating history, the Locanda now provides the ultimate getaway situated within beautiful surroundings.
You are able to explore the many footpaths and immerse yourself in the delights that the 28 hectares of surrounding gardens, olive trees and woodland have to offer, take a refreshing dip in the chlorine free swimming pool or unwind in the outdoor jacuzzi whirlpool spa and Turkish baths.
Daytrips to Umbria's many cities rich in history, art and tradition are also available.
Accommodation
The Locanda Del Gallo has 10 rooms all with private bathrooms and each equally fresh, unique and silent. The furnishings adorning every room have all been hand picked and brought back from the many journeys made by the owners. They are all perfect spaces for rest peace and tranquility.
Food
All healthy and delicious meals, constant refreshments, tea and fruit are included in the retreat package. Organic fruit and vegetables, aromatic herbs and cold pressed olive oil are sourced from the kitchen garden and skillfully blended with just a hint of the orient by Jimmy who has been the resident chef for more than 10 years and the retreat owner and Master Chef herself, Paola.
